The Lionsden

Letter to a friend

I sent the following letter to a friend who has many symptoms of autoimmune disease and who is getting little help from the medical establishment.  She suffers from cluster headaches, tension headaches and migraines with vomiting.  She recently suffered a stroke and has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis.  She lives 700 miles from me and I'm very concerned for her so I sent her these pages from The Lionsden on muscle testing hoping she will learn how to take control of her situation.  What better way to do that than muscle testing?

Dear [name withheld],

I hope these pages will be understandable.  It is rather difficult to explain muscle testing (MT).  Matter of fact, I had to rewrite these pages because what I had written formally didn't even make sense to me.

By learning to muscle test you won't have to find a dentist or choropractor who muscle tests.  It would be great if they did, however.  I know an M.D. who has switched to Integrative medicine and had recently returned from a conference.  He said that he wasn't utilizing MT as yet, but many of the doctors at the conference were using it.

You will discover that you can trust MT.  It is a great thing to know how to do.  I was going to a D.O. during this Intensive Detoxification.  He said, "Infrared sauna is the best for detoxing the body."  I said, "Yes, for most people, but my body cannot tolerate it or any kind of sauna."  (I knew that from MT.)  I respected him because he never would argue with me when I mentioned MT.  He is the doctor who told me that medical testing of thyroid deficiency is NOT conclusive.  So, if a doctor tells you your thyroid is fine - it may not be.  Muscle testing can tell you for sure if you are needing iodine supplementation for your thyroid and how much you are needing and which brand name you need.

Some time back, I went to the Health Food store and muscle tested two different iodine supplements.  I got a 'NO' on the first one she handed me and a 'YES' on the other.  I was surprised that someone MT was nothing new to them.

Then I discovered down the road that my body didn't want that brand any more, but it did want the iodine supplement that my daughter-in-law discovered.  So just because you get a 'no' to a supplement like a particular vitamin, it doesn't mean 'no' altogether.  You may still need that particular vitamin, but your body needs another brand that it can assimilate better. And, too, like in my case, at a point in time I discovered I no longer needed the iodine supplementation at all.  And that amazed ,me, but MT said it was because I had successfully detoxified my body to the place where my body was able to assimilate iodine from the foods that I ate.  Apparently when my body was so toxic, it was not capable of assimilating iodine from foods, therefore the need for supplementation.

Happy MT!!!!

Love you,

Maisie
